Verkerk Axle Covers

Hi All,

This maybe bit of a dim question but I have confused myself, I can hear you saying "yes it will be" & "again"

I've been looking at the Verkerk axle covers for my 6x2 Scania but I can't remember which axle is which.

So this is what I reckon, for the front axle and mid-lift

TA-04 - Scania Dragging Axle Covers

and for the rear twin wheel axle

TA-01 is the standard drive axle hub

TA-04 looks more like a hub reduction hub for a heavy hauler

Hmm... good question! Here's my two cents.

I agree with Mr. Spanky. The TA-01 and TA-04 appear to be for the drive axles. I'm not sure Verkerk makes an axle cover for the front, midlift or tag axle. There's always exceptions of course, but if you look at pictures of the 1:1 trucks, this is what you generally see:

Midlift and tag wheels are the same as the front wheels. TA-01 style hub used on drive axle in both cases



TA-01 is also used on 6x4

Sorry to side track this thread slightly, how do you's make a payment to Verkerk as i dont have a check book and they dont accept Pay Pal or card ?

They will (certainly did last time I ordered) accept payment. Once you place your order they send two emails and one contains payment details for paypal.

I could be wrong but isn't the TA-04 representing a hub reduction??
As per that last heavy haulage tractor
