This is looking good, have you thought abt tamiya gearbox's, there's some with only 1 side output shaft and the gearboxes are cheap, small and wud do the job nicely, then just use a shaft coupler, you can build these but Its better to buy 1 cause it will probably be more precise, great work on the build thou
Slowly making a comeback... 1 part at a time.

Hiya,

Looking good.

If you are looking for gears and pulleys and belts I recommend HPC Gears.

If you get there free catalogues you can find things easy.

I also just bought a reduction gearbox 6:1 very good.

mm-modellbau.de

Ideal for you drive line.

HPC Gears have bevel gear boxes so you can get the 90deg drive for the belts.
they also have bearings.

Very nice build so far

Sorry again guys, still no updates as such, wife just had baby No3 7wks ago, last 3 months of pregnancy were a bit rough on her to say the least so 'my time' was spent doing all the things she couldnt do,but i have managed to buy a mini lathe,a little Axminster, they are £450 new but got this 1 for £200,its still brand new never used, came in its orignal packaging, covered in that heavy sticky oil,now the mate i worked with was going to make the conveyour drums for me & another member (forgot his name) but now he has been diaganosed with glycoma, its the worst type you can get so the docs have told him he will 1st loose his driving liecence then probally his job by xmas,so at the mo im just trying to use it,loving goldrush myself (apart from todd hoffmans' goatee!!!!hope they have made a series 3
