hgv related show for charity event

Postby stitch » Sun Mar 17, 2013 10:18 am

Hi

i am a trustee to a charity solely for hgv drivers who find themselves unable to work due to accident or illness and we are holding a fundraising day at a haulage firm local to peterborough at the end of july. I was hoping to find a collection of hgv related rc vehicles to have as a display at the event. Are there enough people locally that could attend
Also we were trying to find someone with one or two articulated lorries that people could have a go at reversing like you used to see at truckfest.
Any help would be appreciated

no worries, we are in the very early stages of planning at the moment and not even got it passed the boss man yet so all is very hush hush at the moment but we are hoping to have a bretts open day to show case the firm now that most of the building work is complete. we are just throwing ideas iut there how to keep people entertained whilst on site and i thought that a decent collection of rc models always pulls the crowds so if you know any one local please let them know
